The Early Struggles & Break throughs
In the beginning, we had to rely on hand looms, and the work was labor-intensive and time consuming. The traditional methods of spinning thread on the Charkha (spinning wheel) meant that the quality of the thread was inconsistent — some parts thick, others thin. But we didn’t let these hurdles stop us. With determination and a clear vision, we pushed forward, step by step.We were able to scale our operations and introduce power looms to increase production. This was a game changer for us. Then came the next breakthrough: replacing the traditional spinning process with advanced machinery imported from Germany. Fully computerized, this machinery enabled us to produce thread with perfect consistency and superior quality, which significantly improved our shawl products.
Pioneering the Industry’s Growth
In a market where shawl dyeing was only available in Lahore, we saw an opportunity to make things easier for our customers. We decided to bring the dyeing and pressing process closer to home. By purchasing and setting up our very own dyeing unit in Jalalpur Jattan, we made it possible for customers to get their shawls dyed and pressed locally, saving them time and money. The response was overwhelming, and our move helped the local industry grow, as others followed suit and set up similar units.

Fast forward to today, and we are proud to offer over 15 different categories of men’s shawls, available in an array of colors and styles. Our handmade women’s shawls are created with intricate designs that add a touch of elegance to every outfit.
